This Privacy Policy describes how Compass AI Group, LLC (“Compass AI Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you visit this website (the “Site”) or engage us for consulting services. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and being transparent about our practices.
By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the Site.
01Information We Collect
We collect only the information we need to respond to inquiries, schedule meetings, and deliver our services. The categories of information we collect are limited and described below.
Information you provide to us
When you schedule a meeting with us, you do so through our third-party scheduling provider, Calendly. To book a call, you provide information such as your name, email address, and selected meeting time, along with any details you choose to include in the booking notes. If you contact us directly by email or telephone, we receive the information contained in that correspondence.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our Site and its hosting infrastructure automatically generate standard server logs. These logs may include your IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, and the date and time of your visit. This information is used for security, diagnostics, and to maintain the reliable operation of the Site.
What we do not collect
We do not use analytics platforms, advertising pixels, or third-party tracking technologies on this Site. We do not sell personal information, and we do not collect sensitive personal information through the Site.
02How We Use Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about your interest in our services;
- To schedule, confirm, and conduct discovery calls and consulting meetings;
- To provide, manage, and improve our consulting services;
- To maintain records of our client relationships and business communications;
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Site;
- To comply with applicable legal obligations and to enforce our agreements.
We do not use the information collected through this Site for automated advertising or for sale to third parties.
03Cookies & Tracking Technologies
This Site does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not deploy third-party tracking technologies. Certain essential cookies or similar technologies may be set by our third-party scheduling provider when you interact with its booking interface; these are governed by that provider’s own privacy policy.
Most web browsers allow you to control or disable cookies through their settings. Because we do not rely on non-essential cookies, disabling them will not impair your use of the core content of this Site.
04Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of trusted third-party service providers to operate our business. These providers process information only as necessary to provide their services to us and are bound by their own privacy obligations:
- Calendly — appointment scheduling. When you book a meeting, your name, email address, and scheduling details are processed by Calendly on our behalf.
- Third-Party Email Provider — business email and productivity. Correspondence you send to us is stored and processed within this platform.
- Customer relationship management (CRM) system — we maintain a record of prospective and active client contacts and communications to manage our engagements.
- Website hosting provider — hosts the Site and generates the standard server logs described above.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these providers to understand how they handle information. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the independent privacy practices of these third parties.
05Client Engagement & Local AI Data
Beyond the Site, our consulting engagements may give us access to information belonging to our clients and their businesses. We treat this information with particular care, and our handling of it is governed by the written agreement between Compass AI Group and the client.
A core principle of our practice is that your data should stay where it belongs — with you. This is especially important for clients in regulated industries such as healthcare, legal, and finance.
For our fully local AI engagements, the language models we deploy run entirely on infrastructure that you own and control. In these deployments:
- Your operational data, queries, and model outputs remain within your own network and do not leave your environment;
- There is no cloud API dependency and no transmission of your data to external model providers;
- Inference activity can be logged and audited within your own governance controls;
- Architectures are designed to support requirements such as HIPAA and SOC 2 where applicable.
Where an engagement involves cloud-based or vendor-hosted AI tools rather than a local deployment, we will identify the relevant providers and the applicable data-handling terms as part of that engagement.
Confidentiality
Information we access in the course of an engagement is used solely to perform the agreed services. We do not use client data to train external models, and we do not disclose client information except as authorized by the client or as required by law. Specific terms, including data ownership, confidentiality, and any regulatory obligations, are set out in each engagement agreement.
06How We Disclose Information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers. To the third-party providers described above, acting on our behalf to operate our business;
- Legal requirements. When required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or an enforceable governmental request;
- Protection of rights. When necessary to enforce our agreements, protect the safety of any person, or protect our rights and property;
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of business assets, subject to the protections of this Policy.
07Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to maintain our business and client relationships, and to comply with our legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete it or render it anonymous.
08Data Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping any credentials or sensitive information you share with us confidential.

The Site and our services are intended for businesses and adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services, including our scheduling provider. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.
12Changes to This Policy
